Meet Vicky

Vicky taught computer programming and application software at the
college level from 1988 to 2003. In the early years, she developed her
own teaching materials, as there was little available for classroom
use at that time.
Teaching is hard work, but what many people don't
know, is the hardest work is often done before you enter the
classroom!

I would really like to serve the ELCO
community by being a school board member who listens to the voters,
students, teachers and administrators.
I would be available by phone, email
and in person to hear your concerns and work toward solutions.
A School Board must maintain a delicate
balance, providing the resources needed, while using tax dollars
carefully.
Public education is the cornerstone of
a democratic society. Education produces the literate and independent
thinking electorate our system needs for government to work. |
Vicky has the experience:
- Teacher: taught at the college level
for many years.
- Parent: raised 2 children with her
husband, Lyle Woodard.
- Student: values education. Vicky put
herself through the first two years of college, then continued
college while raising a family. Vicky has a Master's degree in
Education.
- Supported the Save Our Schools
efforts. Why? Click here for more
information.
